Luckily we started a new project in the last 12 months and went straight to Playwright. It was looking like it was going to surpass Cypress a long time back, strong community support anf Microsoft backing will ensure it stays ahead for many years to come.

Currently Cypress. But dealing with performance problems of the web automation and also dealing with limitations of Cypress. Also stupid choices of Cypress, like skipping the xpath plugin.

The way I read that study is that 65% of software projects are either using the wrong software development methodology or doing agile-theater.

I mean, “your experience is now transferable” is true insofar as applying to k8s roles goes lol, just like anything else

One thing Paul tends to miss saying is that you need to employ "common sense" in your analysis and decision making processes. I know Paul, and we've had these discussions, and he is very practical and pragmatic in his approach. Great talk guys.

Thank you for the interview! A small suggestion, maybe it makes sense to cut video into questions using time codes, so it is more comprehensive in terms of content. 40 mins, it is a lot of time. I also noticed, there are not that much Videos related to the topic, but all of them go around exactly same things, i.e. this Jira plugin. It makes an impression of paid Ad, while this plugin is useful, but .... you know 😊

I think Jon has a very healthy view on testing. It's not about the metrics but all about avoiding production bugs, therefore improving quality. Thank you both!

Wonderfu podcast, questions and answers from Paul. I found it helpful especially during this time because I have interviewed some testers who actually lied on their resumes and during the interview which turned me off right away. I've always been super honest when I'm seeking a new opportunity (like now) and also being active learning, practicing and offering to assist a non-profit community organization with their website and social media presence. As testers, you can gain so many skills if you show future employers what projects you are working while seeking a new role. You and Paul confirmed what I'm doing is a good way to showcase my skills and experience. Great job!
